On 28 September 2026, TotalEnergies updated its medium- and long-term strategy in New York: net investment of USD 14-17 billion per year from 2027 to 2032, oil and gas production held at around 3 million boe/d through 2035, and total energy output growing about 4% annually to 2030.

On emissions, the company reaffirmed a 50% cut in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from oil and gas operations versus 2015 and an 80% reduction in methane, with new production coming mainly from low-emission projects.
